Air and Screen Cleaning for Defined Seed Quality Targets
ADDAMS Super Fine Seed Cleaners are evaluated for seed cleaning and size classification using screens and the specified air-separation arrangement. The cleaning target should identify the crop, unwanted material and acceptable sound-seed loss. Final quality depends on the incoming lot and selected settings, not on the product name alone.
Balance Cleaning and Product Recovery
Screen openings separate material by dimensions, while airflow can remove suitable light fractions. Similar-sized or similar aerodynamic contaminants may remain and require another process. Representative trials should compare the cleaned product, rejected fractions, sound seed recovered and remaining impurities.
Feed consistency, moisture, screen condition and air adjustment influence the result. The screen area, number of stages, air connections and control options must be confirmed for the chosen model. Throughput should be stated for the actual crop and duty. Seed certification, germination and purity requirements must be assessed through the relevant tests; cleaning alone does not establish compliance.
Compare Equipment Across the Cleaning Line
Review the fine seed cleaner and rotary fine cleaner as alternative arrangements. Length-based impurities may call for an indented cylinder separator; density differences may be evaluated using a gravity separator. Visible colour differences can be assessed with an optical color sorter. These steps address different physical properties and should be combined only where the sample results justify them.
