Vibratory Screen Pre-Cleaning for Incoming Grain and Seed
ADDAMS Vibrotary Pre-Cleaner Seed Separators are evaluated for separating suitable oversize and undersize impurities at intake. Vibratory screen movement helps the material pass over selected openings. The proposed screens and feeding arrangement should reflect the crop, incoming debris and peak intake requirement.
Screening Duty and Installation
Representative samples should be checked for main-product dimensions, coarse debris, fines and moisture. Trials should record the cleaned stream, rejected material and sound product lost with the rejects. Stones or other contaminants close to the crop size may remain after screening and require another separation stage.
Screen opening, feed distribution and operating adjustments affect capacity and separation quality. Drive arrangement, support loads, maintenance access and aspiration connections must be confirmed for the selected model. A vibratory system should not be described as maintenance-free or as guaranteeing final purity.
Compare the Next Processing Steps
Alternative intake arrangements include the eccentric pre-cleaner, oscillating pre-cleaner and rotary drum pre-cleaner. Subsequent cleaning may use a fine seed cleaner. Dense impurities can be assessed with a pressure-type de-stoner, based on sample behaviour and the required product recovery.
