Does density separation guarantee germination or purity?
No. Removing a suitable light fraction may improve the retained lot, but results depend on the material and settings. Confirm seed quality through appropriate testing; density separation alone does not establish germination, nutritional content or contaminant safety.
How is throughput selected?
Use the relevant model data and representative samples. Crop size, moisture, impurity load, feed consistency and acceptable good-product loss affect the working capacity and separation result.
