Principles of Operation of the Magnetic Grill Separator

Product Flow & Zig-Zag Separation Path

Our Drawer-In-Housing separators consist of multiple rows of round magnetic tubes. As the product flows into the top of the housing, it is forced to cascade in a zig-zag pattern over the staggered tubes.

Ferrous Metal Capture Mechanism

As ferrous contaminants pass through the magnetic field, they are held securely to the tubes. This includes nails, wires, bolts, metal fragments, and fine metal dust.

EZ-Clean Drawer Cleaning System

The EZ-Clean design allows operators to pull handles on the front, removing the magnetic drawer from the flow. As the tubes pass through a seal, the accumulated metal is wiped off into a collection pan for easy disposal.
