Melon Seed Cleaning and Grading Equipment
Plan an ADDAMS cleaning and grading line around the incoming melon seed lot, its intended use and the required finished seed quality. This page concerns botanical seeds; equipment selection depends on representative material trials rather than the crop name alone.
Specify the condition of the melon seed received by the cleaning line. Seed extraction from fruit and wet pulp handling require a separate process assessment; they are not established by the cleaning equipment links below.
Define the Seed Processing Requirement
Record lot condition, moisture, contamination, target grading fractions and required throughput. An agreed cleaning sequence may include screening and air separation, followed by density separation where sample tests support it. Describe how the seed will enter the line and how the accepted and rejected fractions will be collected.

Compare Fine Seed Cleaners with the air screen separation process guide for screening and aspiration. Review Gravity Separator with the density separation guide where density grading is required. Specify screens, feed rate and handling settings against the seed sample and trial objectives.
Seed Quality and Acceptance Checks
Assess the accepted fraction, removed impurities, usable seed recovery and visible damage during trials. Germination and seed-health requirements need their own agreed testing criteria; a mechanical cleaning result alone does not establish these properties. Confirm packaging, lot identification and storage conditions with the seed operator.
Request a Melon Seed Line Assessment
Send the incoming seed description, representative sample, target capacity, grading specification and available site layout through the ADDAMS contact page. Include the current handling method and the acceptance checks required by your customer so the proposed configuration can be evaluated against a clear brief.
